Today I have a special post from a guest.DrGlover

It’s from my friend and fellow therapist turned men’s dating coach Dr. Robert Glover.

Without further adieu I’ll let Robert take it from here…

=============================

Do you ever feel like you just don’t fit in?

That other people get it, while you often don’t have a clue?

As if you came from another planet where you never learned earthling language and social subtleties?

That being social just doesn’t come naturally to you?

That small talk feels excruciating?

That just thinking about talking to an attractive woman results in instant brain freeze and inaction?

That reading a book and spending time alone always appeals more than being around people?

That you would rather have a root canal with no painkiller than talk to a stranger?

That you’re sure speaking to a crowd will cause an instant heart attack?

Welcome to the club. I would say that a great majority of the men I work with struggle with one or more of the following:

Any one of these can seem like a death sentence when you live in a culture that favors and rewards outgoing, assertive,

and confident men. And if you have some combination, you’re toast.

Being sensitive, withdrawn, anxious, or shy doesn’t just make getting ahead socially a chore, it can affect other areas of your life, including friendships, emotional well-being, relationships, personal health, sex, work, and career.

But I want you to know there’s hope. Being shy, introverted, or socially anxious doesn’t have to be a social death sentence.

So where do you start?

How about a free interview I recently recorded with David Hamilton, the creator of Authentic Social Influence.

In this free podcast, David and I talk about the differences between shyness, introversion, and social anxiety.

People often confuse them and use the terms interchangeably, but they differ significantly.

We’ll talk about how each of these hardwired personality trait creates unique social challenges as well as unique social opportunities.

We discuss how to work with – rather than fight against – your natural brain wiring to fit into a world in which you always seem on the outside looking in.

If you are ready to stop feeling like a stranger in a strange land, we’d like to help.

It’s David again real quick before we sign off….

I hope you enjoyed what Robert wrote – he’s quite the writer isn’t he?

I hope you enjoy the podcast above, too.

The life you want is waiting for you, if you are willing to do the work and apply the right information too, of course.
