When even I do videos about how to meet women, I’m always waiting.
Waiting for what?
I’m waiting for the guys to comment about how important looks are, appearance and that is what women go for.
Which couldn’t be further from the truth.
But I get it, guys that post those kind of comments are so mired in their self-limiting beliefs that if they see couples walking around with really out-of-shape, even ugly men with beautiful women, they’ll call it a fluke or even totally ignore it.
I’m not saying looks don’t play into it, but looks can be completely overridden with personality and confidence.
And if a guy is really good-looking, has his physique in line, he can easily self-sabotage any advantage looks might give him, which is very minimal in the scheme of things compared to confidence and being comfortable in himself.
Ask me how I know. :)
AND…
If it makes you feel good, then you should handle your appearance.
I always like looking good even before when I was shy and socially awkward. I’m not the most fashionable guy, but I do pretty well for myself, good enough.
So are you happy with your basic appearance?
If not go fix it. It’s much easier to get that in line than mindset and belief, so why not take care of it if you care about it?
It’s easy if you do a Google search on men’s fashion to find sites within minutes.
All you need is a 2-3 good outfits to get by, and if you shop right you won’t spend that much. I go to Nordstrom Rack, American Eagle (great & inexpensive jeans), and Express for Men.
If you aren’t exercising, that’s easy to fix.
Start with just walking 30-45 minutes a day or every other day.
Me, I currently lift weights twice a week at Planet Fitness which costs me $10/month, walk through my neighborhood, do Tai Chi, hike and play some tennis once in a while.
If you eat fast food all the time, stop it you’re killing yourself doing that. Go to once a week at most, less if you can. Even fast food is getting healthier – my go to is Chipoltle.
Start cooking at home simple dishes. There’s tons of websites with simple recipes.
It’s of this can be done at very low cost or for free.
Get it on, one thing at a time.
I don’t recommend switching diet and starting to exercise more at the same time. Pick one.
And over the next few months, go shopping for some new (or cool used) clothes. Which is also a good reason to get out and about more.
Got it? Good.
Speaking of appearance…
