He was not only a bad-ass martial artist.
We was a really wise and intelligent man with a lot of wisdom to share.
Like this famous quote, which you may have seen a YouTube video of:
“Be like water making its way through cracks. Do not be assertive, but adjust to the object, and you shall find a way around or through it.
If nothing within you stays rigid, outward things will disclose themselves.”
Empty your mind, be formless. Shapeless, like water.
If you put water into a cup, it becomes the cup. You put water into a bottle and it becomes the bottle. You put it in a teapot, it becomes the teapot.
Now, water can flow or it can crash.
Be water, my friend.”
(If you haven’t seen the YouTube video then I suggest you look up “be water my friend” and you will find it.)
So…
how does this relate to beating social anxiety or shyness and becoming the confident person you’ve always wanted to be?
It relates to everything!
You see, when those negative, self-limiting thoughts come up, you should see them as a rock in the river.
And what does the river do to the rock?
It flows AROUND it.
It doesn’t fight the rock and try to move it.
Over time however, it wears the rock away by constantly being in touch with but flowing around it.
This is how you should approach handling your negative thoughts or dealing social anxiety.
See them for what they are, but then let them go aka flow around them.
Acknowledge them, but don’t fight them.
Touch on them, but don’t attach to them.
See them and allow them to flow by because you can be just like the water flowing around the rock.
Fortunately, you can wear away the negative thought patterns much quicker than it takes a river to wear down rock.
Because we have brains that are “neuroplastic” and can be re-wired.
That’s also where the Overcoming Shyness and Social Anxiety (OSASA) course can help you at an unbelievably affordable price.
OSASA is full of techniques and tools to help you flow around the negative thoughts and release them, among other things.
Again, it’s via the “Pay-What-You-Will” system on DailyOM. Where you can pay as low at $10 and up to $40 max for it.
And TODAY is the official launch day.
(Ahem.)
I screwed that up yesterday fortunately all is well and it was already online, thank god.
I’m not perfect, so sue me. :)
Everything is ONLINE and working fine.
I’ve made this decision to make it accessible to anyone regardless of their financial situation, because the course is worth much more than that.
But only if you USE IT and practice what is in it daily.
Here’s the link for the OSASA course:
Learn to be like water my friend, and it will pay off in learning to flow in your life just like it.
